This dial can be found on the Baptist Church at Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. It is not particularly grand, but it does bear an ornately pierced gnomon, and it is unusual in its use of VI centrally above the horizon line to serve for both am and pm. It is canted out slightly on the East side to ensure that it faces due South. It was repainted in 1997, but its age and maker are unknown.
