This modern dial, designed by Christopher Daniel, is situated at Chatham, Kent - a town which has long been associated with the Royal Navy. It commemorates the Battle of Trafalgar with a declination line for that date and an ikon marking the time of Nelson's death. This photograph was taken on the Trafalgar anniversary (21 October) |
